What is an If Bet?

An If Bet is a type of sports wager that links multiple bets together based on conditions. The outcome of one bet determines whether the next bet is placed. If the first bet wins, the subsequent bet is placed using the winnings or a portion of the initial stake. If the first bet loses, the wager ends. If bets must be placed in one call.

Example:

San Francisco 49ers -3 -110: $110 to win $100

IF (if win, tie, or cancel)

Houston Texans +4 -110: $110 to win $100

  • If the 49ers lose, the bet ends, resulting in a $110 loss.
  • If the 49ers win, earning $100, the bet moves on to the Texans wager
  • If the Texans win, the total profit is $200.
  • If the Texans lose, the overall loss is $10
